When the weather called for a blizzard, of course these girls decided it would be the perfect time to make their arrival. Mom and Dad had to drive an hour in the snow, got detoured because of a jackknifed truck, and were supposed to deliver in Portland, another two hour drive....on a good day! Instead they stayed in Farmington, and labored through the storm. This amazing mama is my sister, and she was an absolute bad ass during labor. There was no sign of pain until she was 8ct dilated! The girls Daddy, was such great support for my sister, and it was so sweet to see his excitement and love for my sister. Kirstin's Doula, Mary, who is also a mama to twins, was great support and encouragement. I've been in the delivery room many times, but witnessing a family member labor and deliver was a first for me..... and let me tell you...taking photos with tears in your eyes is not an easy thing to do! I am so grateful to be able to capture my sweet little nieces enter the world. Thank you so much Kirstin & Jamey for giving me the honor of being there! Congratulations!
