When planning and winter wedding I think the biggest stress much be weather. Yes, it poses a threat whenever your wedding may be... but there isn't much for backup plans for a blizzard. Thankfully, there was no blizzard...almost the complete opposite and totally unexpected, it was a gorgeous 50 degree day in JANUARY?!? It felt like a special treat for Nancy and Rylan's wedding day.
Nancy and Rylan are full of love and happiness and the spread it to everyone around them, their day was filled with laughter and joy. You could tell by their friends and family that everyone was ecstatic that this day was here and that Nancy and Rylan were saying "I do!" I had the honor of photographing Rylan's sister's wedding last winter and was looking forward to seeing Amiee take on the roll as "Best Human" and let me tell you...the girl can ROCK and suit!
At the edge of the bay with the beautiful city of Portland as a backdrop across the water, sit the Saltwater Grille. It was here that the couple exchanged vows surrounded by friends and family. Pine trees, snowflakes, and gold and sliver ornaments decorated the space. It was a beautiful day all around and I am so excited to have been the one to capture it! Thank you so much Nancy and Rylan for letting me be a part of your day

With a simple "good luck" Facebook message sent the night before Kassey had a big exam. I'm sure that Andrew could only hope that he would end up at the other end of an isle with one of the most beautiful brides ever walking toward him. But as fate, love, and life would have it, that's just where they found themselves. And it was a beautiful thing. I had such an amazing time photographing their wedding, and have been looking forward to it for quite awhile now. A few years back I had the pleasure of photographing Kassey, for her senior photos, and I knew she would be a stunning bride and was she ever. During the planing process she told me she hoped to jump in the ocean after the wedding.... and I couldn't have been more excited to have such an adventurous bride! And the photos do NOT disappoint, make sure you scroll all the way to the end...you don't want to miss them!

Fast car, beautiful couple, amazing food, great friends and family.....it was the perfect day! So glad that I got to work with Ben and Danielle on their amazing wedding day. Fort Williams offered the perfect backdrop for the day. All the park guests were quick to offer their congratulations to the couple... especially the four legged furry ones! And I have to say I was super looking forward to sampling the food during the reception at David's Restaurant.... and it didn't disappoint, absolutely incredible. Altogether this, wedding, couple, and day was a joy to be a part of.
On a beautiful fall day, on a peaceful ocean side point, a stunning bride, with a 1000 watt smile walked down a wooded path, on the arms of two special little men, to the hands of her amazing man. This is the day my best friend said "I do" to her best friend. It was a day filled with laughter, smiles, happy tears (I may have shed a few of them) and I've never seen Chelsea happier!
Chris, thank you so much for making Chelsea so happy! Thank you for continually making her smile, for bringing out even more happiness and life! And Chelsea, thank you so much for all the fun and adventures you've brought to my life! Chelsea has an unbelievable ability to make anyone feel like her best friend in the first five minutes of meeting her. I consider myself so lucky to call her my friend!
