I really do love winter engagement sessions, for so many reasons. You can't help but snuggle to keep warm.... and did Sheridan and Eric ever need to snuggle.... it was COLD! But they were such trooper and and made quick work of it, be they just couldn't take a bad photo, just too cute! Sugarloaf was the perfect backdrop for these photos, from what I hear Sheridan is quite the skier. We've had no shortage of snow this winter which makes such a pretty backdrop for photos...even if it means having to climb a few snowbanks. I had such a great time meeting you two and can't wait to see you this fall!
For any couples looking for a amazing deep woods venue... I'm quite sure that you will fall in LOVE with Tea Pond Lodge and Cabins. It's an off the grid venue that offers top notch service, food and location. Nestled deep in the forrest of the western Maine foot hills, just past the beautiful Bigealow Mountain range, and shores of Flagstaff lake, is the Tea Pond Lodge. It's boast rustic sophistication, which may seem like a oxymoron that is thrown around too often, but the Tea Pond nails it in every way! The rustic is evident in the cozy, tranquil lakeside cabins. The sophistication in the amazing food created by the skilled hands of head Chef Greg McCausland, and the fabulous people involved in all the planning and design aspects of every event. There were so many dedicated people involved in the planing of this wedding inspiration shoot. The area of Western Maine boasts some amazingly talented wedding vendors, who were all too excited to jump on this project and put so much time and energy into making this a unique and stunning event. Every detail was thoughful and perfect, but words doesn't do it justice... I hope the photos do!
Thank you so much to the wonderful and willing models, putting up with the cold temps, you all rocked!

I'm not sure there could be a more perfect day for a wedding, the weather was sunny, warm, and beautiful.
The only thing more beautiful than the weather was the sweet looks of love shared by Aaron and Janna.
I love apple orchards, and the Berry Fruit Farm is one of the prettiest, I was so excited to have that as the backdrop for this beautiful day. I've known Janna for quite a few years now and always thought she has the sweetest spirit of anyone I've met, and even though I don't know Aaron as well, it's clear to see that he has the same sweetness. I was so happy to photograph their wedding and be a part of such a wonderful day filled with so much joy, faith, and love!

This was such a fun wedding, the day might not have been clear and sunny, but it was still bight and beautiful because of the love and fun that Jason and Kali brought to the day. In the yard of their beautiful family property they exchanged vows, and adorable looks. They also had the most adorable flower girl who, as promised, gets a 5 star review from me!
