Nikki insisted that her and Adam were not photographic, which is something I hear from almost every couple that I photograph. So I brace myself for the awkward, prepare for the uncomfortable.... But am blessed to find nothing but beautiful! But when I really think about it, I'm not there to photograph them...I'm there to capture their love...and that's an effortlessly beautiful thing to photograph.
The sparkle in someones eye. The smile that plays at the corner of their mouth.
The tender touches and brushes of their hands. The excitement of a new chapter starting. All beautiful, all easy to capture, and all unique stories for each couple.
Nikki and Adam met at Mainly Brews Restaurant in Waterville. Adam wanted to strike up a conversation with her, but was at a loss as to what to say.... asked her "how's the soup?" not the best line... but apparently effective! We even went back to the restaurant to do some photos. Nikki is quick to laugh, and Adam seems to get her laughing every minute. Along with Adam's daughter's, we also did some photos at the Two Cent Bridge also in Waterville. I am so excited to see this whole family again in Sep to celebrate their wedding! This is the start of Nikki and Adam's love story....
